Wow, what a dream stay! If glamping in a luxury dome is not on your bucket list, I’m sure you will be adding it after you read all about Glamp AVL.
It offers an opportunity for you to completely disconnect, relax, and immerse yourself in nature.
This place is an oasis in the middle of the mountains making it the perfect place for a private, unique, and romantic couples retreat.

Accommodations:
The property is equipped with everything you need. As soon as you enter you will be greeted with huge bay windows which allow you to watch the beautiful sunsets and sunrises from the comforts of the bed or couch.
The kitchenette is stocked with a mini fridge, a microwave, a coffee maker, a hot plate, pots and pans, bowls, and utensils. I would advise you to bring your own groceries like we did. Fortunately the dome is near a grocery store. There’s even a grill outside so make sure to bring your own charcoal if you plan on grilling any meals.
The bathroom is modern with plenty of room for two people. It feels like your in a hotel, glamping at the finest.
Outside there’s a hot tub overlooking breathtaking mountain views. We relaxed there for hours, from day to night, just talking about life and how grateful we are for this beautiful life we get to live.
There’s also a hammock and a fire pit right outside. The perfect place to cozy up by the fire while you make s’mores and stargaze.

King size bed - Everything about this bed was luxurious from the plush cloud-like mattress to the soft and cozy sheets.

How do you get there? The drive is super easy as it’s just 20 minutes outside of downtown Asheville. The drive up to the dome is all paved roads except for the last quarter mile which is a moderately steep gravel road that was no problem for our compact Model 3 Tesla Hertz rental. We did visit in the fall so check road conditions if you’re visiting during snow.
Is there a tv? There is no tv, but we did not miss it at all. Firstly we had our iPad and laptop with us just in case we wanted to stream a movie. Turns out we didn’t even need it. We spent all of our time cooking, relaxing in the hot tub, playing board games, and cuddling. We didn’t miss the tv at all.
Is it private? There’s only one dome on site to ensure the guests have plenty of privacy.
Is it safe? Do you see bears? The property isn’t deep in the woods. During our stay we felt extremely safe and we didn’t see any bears.
How do I make reservations? You can book through Airbnb linked here. It books up quickly so make sure to reserve your stay early.
Overall
Glamp AVL is a one of a kind escape from the vibrant city life. We couldn’t recommend this experience enough! There is something truly magical about this place. We loved falling asleep under the stars and waking up to the stunning sunrise. This is the ultimate retreat perfect for a couples getaway.
Plus Andy the owner of the Airbnb is so kind and deserves a 20/10 for hospitality. He made an incredible experience that much better.
