Atlanta Tiny House | A Couples Getaway
If you have ever been intrigued about staying in a tiny house, then I am going to give you all the details about what it’s like to have a little romantic getaway in the middle of Atlanta staying at the Atlanta Tiny House. More than sleeping in a hotel room, but not quite like having an “entire” house to yourself, the Atlanta Tiny House has created such a magically unique experience in the middle of Atlanta that combines the feeling of getting away with the convenience of the city life.
The theme for our stay was date night, but the extended version. As a way for us to make planning dates easier and a reminder for us to keep dating each other no matter how busy life can get, we created a date jar with over 70 fun and unique date ideas. This is how our adventurous date began.
Brennan said pack a bag and a few hours later we were in Atlanta for a little romantic getaway at the Atlanta Tiny House.
Where It’s Located
The Atlanta Tiny House is located in the Old Fourth Ward neighborhood which is known for being rich in culture and vibrant energy, less than a 20-minute drive from the airport. This property is the ideal place to visit if you want that feeling of just getting away during your visit or to stay in town and enjoy a staycation. Nestled in a beautiful neighborhood and walking distance or a short drive to the hottest restaurants, shops, and activities this Atlanta tiny house is perfectly located.
We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and looking at all the beautifully eclectic houses. We were truly wowed with how much there was to do just walking distance from the property! If you’re feeling adventurous grab a rentable electric scooter, because there is tons to explore near the property.
Explore Ponce City Market, a great place to shop, eat, play, and walk.
Escape to The Roof located on top of Ponce City Market and enjoy delicious food, breathtaking views, and carnival amusements. Whether you’re looking for a day of games and fun or a relaxing sunset cocktail hour, the Skyline Park on The Roof is perfect. Before you go, check the hours and expect to pay to access.
Walk The Beltline trails (or grab an electric scooter) and stop at some great restaurants, bars, parks, and venues along the way.
Along the Beltline, explore Krog Street Market that “Travel and Leisure” magazine describes as one of the “worlds best food halls.”
Have a picnic at Piedmont Park, the most famous Atlanta downtown park, or check to see if there’s a jazz festival, farmers markets, or concert going on.
Take a short drive, less than 10 minutes and you are transported from the green spaces of the neighborhood to downtown or midtown Atlanta.
About The Space
The Atlanta Tiny House is a family owned property and custom-built. I love family-owned properties because there is just a little bit more personalization, attention to detail, and that sense of home away from home. The Atlanta Tiny House is so conveniently sized that it fits comfortably in the hosts’ backyard without the feeling of actually being crammed in someone’s backyard. Engulfing the tiny house is a beautiful white oak fence with its own secured, coded lock that gives you the feeling of being in your own little getaway and allows you to have all the privacy and seclusion you need.
Driving up to our Atlanta Tiny House, I was getting nervous by how small the house looked, but once we walked in, we were so impressed with how spacious it felt and the level of comfort. The layout is so well designed you will feel like you are in a 5-star resort. It has such an aesthetic vibe, we felt like every corner was Instagram-worthy.
There is a loft with a cloud plush queen-sized bed, perfect for two people. In the living room the sofa could be used for a sleeping area too. There is also a smart TV that had great streaming services if you wanted to do some Netflix and chilling. The kitchenette could be used for cooking small meals or just to prepare your morning coffee. My favorite part was the spa-like bathroom with a shower big enough for two people if you want to add some extra romance to your stay. It has its own private yard, rock creek, and patio with lots of plants and greenery which was another place we spent time hanging out.

Overall Thoughts
This mini romantic getaway was exactly what we needed. We will be talking about our stay at the Atlanta Tiny House for weeks! This family-owned Airbnb is so welcoming, accommodating, responsive, and very friendly! Before our stay, we were sent all the information explaining check-in, a great list of recommendations of places to check out and activities to do near the property. We felt like the property was pristinely clean and sanitized for our stay which is very important to us. We loved the aesthetic of the tiny home, it felt spacious and had everything we could need for a relaxing, romantic getaway. The attention to detail did not go unnoticed and we will definitely be back to the Atlanta Tiny House. We couldn’t recommend this property enough, it truly is a magical experience in the middle of Atlanta, Georgia.
